AI Incident Assistance

Version ai-2026-10-v1 · Effective October 10, 2026

Purchases and Credits

One incident costs $5 USD. Packs of 10, 20, and 30 incidents cost $40, $75, and $100 USD respectively, before applicable tax. A verified payment adds credits to your organization. Credits are separate from participant licenses and do not increase participant capacity.

Unused credits expire 12 months after payment confirmation. Starting an incident with AI assistance consumes one credit. Reopening that same incident does not consume another credit. Credits are not automatically renewed and no overage charges are made.

Included Assistance and Limits

Each AI incident includes up to 30 requests for an opening scenario, possible outcomes, or injects. Requests may produce multiple suggestions. Regenerations count as additional requests. An incident has a 150,000-token safety ceiling and a provider-cost ceiling; organization and application safety limits also apply. These can pause AI before all 30 requests are used. The interface shows the remaining request allowance. Library exercises and injects remain available.

Provider calls that fail or time out may consume usage and a request. We do not retry automatically. If AI is unavailable or a safety limit prevents use of purchased assistance, contact billing support for review, restoration where appropriate, or a refund request. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular outcome.

Context, Review, and Exercise Outcomes

Before enabling AI, the facilitator agrees to send selected business descriptions, operating context, participant role aliases, recovery objectives, proposed responses, and recent shared exercise activity to OpenAI. Names and email addresses are redacted on a best-effort basis. Private participant messages and personal profile details are excluded. Do not enter secrets, identifying customer records, or sensitive personal information into business profiles or AI requests.

AI suggestions can be incorrect. The facilitator reviews scenario text and outcomes before applying them. Outcome percentages are fictional exercise weights, not measured real-world probabilities. Recording an outcome does not automatically change downtime, recovery status, or RTO/RPO/MTD.

Support

Record billing, availability, refund, or credit issues through the customer portal. Include the purchase reference when available; do not include passwords or API keys.
